Not your average real estate agent…

Laura Taylor came to San Francisco in 1973, trading the natural beauty of Vermont for this wild, urban landscape. She started selling real estate in 1983 after transitioning from a nursing career in pediatric intensive care at the University of California, San Francisco.

Those nursing skills haven’t gone to waste. As a highly-specialized nurse, Laura worked transporting critically-ill children, nationally and internationally, to UCSF. Now Laura relies on her nursing skills —diligence and meticulous attention to detail— to sell a wide variety of properties.

A San Francisco expert, from land to sea. For the past 35 years, Laura has meticulously tracked the curious evolution of San Francisco’s diverse neighborhoods and trends. She’s even spent time enjoying the view from the city’s chilly bay as an open water swimmer (quite the energy booster).

She knows her properties and her people. Laura sells every kind of property. Of special note is her marketing of 710 Ashbury, the old “Grateful Dead” house, which was showcased on the front page of The San Francisco Chronicle, and was also featured internationally on CNN, BBC, and The London Times. Laura offers her expertise, her discretion, and her enthusiasm to each and every client, always focusing on maximizing their real estate goals.

Always grateful, always humble. While productivity is a hallmark of the real estate industry, Laura enjoys giving back. From every closing commission check, she donates a percentage which is distributed among local charities, including a personal favorite, The San Francisco Food Bank.
